A fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing manufacturer as a Workshop Operative in a woodworking / carpentry based workshop. Our client manufactures and installs retail displays in to showrooms for national brands across the country, boasting a fantastic customer base filled with well-known brands despite remaining a local, family-run company.

About this Workshop Operative role in Bekesbourne, near Canterbury:

• Working within the workshop in Bekesbourne, joining an established team of carpenters, installers and workshop production operatives.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• Heavy manual handling.
• Carrying out assembly and production work within the workshop, preparing the display products for installation.

Workshop Operative shift pattern in Bekesbourne, near Canterbury:

• Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm.

About you, the ideal Workshop Operative in Bekesbourne, near Canterbury:

• Basic background in DIY projects involving wood is preferred.
• You should be able to demonstrate effective and safe manual handling.
• Own transport is recommended due to remote location of the workshop.
